There are currently more than 60 students enrolled in IESD. IESD students come from more than 15 countries across the globe. They are majoring in the following Master and PhD programs:
Since 2006, IESD has enrolled 254 students (79 Chinese students and 175 international student) from more than 40 countries, namely Azerbaijan, Venezuela, Spain, Slovenia, Denmark, Poland, Mexico, Kenya, Libya, Central Africa, China, Cote d’Ivoire, East Timor, Ecuador, Egypt, Fiji, France, Germany, Ghana, Italy, Japan, Maldives, Mongolia, Morocco, Nepal, Papua New Guinea, Sai Moya Island, Sudan, Zambia, Tanzania, Turkmenistan, Thailand, the United States and Yemen.
Currently most of IESD graduates are employed in international organizations, governmental agencies, NGOs, universities and other institutes engaged in the field of sustainable development, such as UNEP Head quarter in Nairobi, UNEP Asia-Pacific Resources Center, United Nations Development Program, Institute for Global Environment Strategies, World Vision, Thailand Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Environment of Mongolia, Fiji Department of Energy, Azerbaijan Ministry of Economic Development, Environment Protection Agency of Liberia, etc.
