2025 International Student Conference on Environment and Sustainability (ISCES)

Since 2011, the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and Tongji University have jointly initiated the International Student Conference on Environment and Sustainability. With support from the Agricultural Bank of China, the Beijing Green Future Environment Foundation, and Xinhua News Agency, the conference has successfully held 13 sessions to date, attracting over 1,000 students from more than 60 countries to gather at Tongji University annually during World Environment Day. Over its decade-long development, the conference has evolved into a global event focused on cultivating future leadership in sustainability. As one of the youth sustainability summits with the broadest international participation and greatest influence, it not only provides a platform for global youth to discuss critical environmental issues but also fosters interdisciplinary and cross-border collaboration, offering students committed to environmental causes transnational learning and practical opportunities.
