Responsibilities

Assists in the coordination with international organisations, over the development, implementation and evaluation of assigned programmes/projects; monitors and analyses programme/project development and implementation; reviews relevant documents and reports; identifies problems and issues to be addressed and proposes corrective actions; liaises with relevant parties; identifies and tracks follow-up actions.

Performs consulting assignments, in collaboration with partners, by planning and organising conferences, forums, workshops, through other interactive sessions and assisting in developing the action plan, facilitates related application and finance procedure.

Provides substantive support to consultative visits and other meetings, conferences, including agenda topics, identifying participants, preparation of legal documents and presentations, as well as onsite support.

Assists in the preparation of written outputs, e.g. drafts background papers, event concept notes, new release, forum summary, etc., and adapts the contents as well as format for website, social media and internal reporting.

Education

Advanced university degree (full time Master’s degree or above) in sustainable development, environmental science, social science, political science, economics English studies, or other relevant background; foreign (overseas) degrees must provide the Authentication from the Ministry of Education of China;

Requirement

1. Chinese nationals

2. Experience in international research project or programme management is desirable.

Language

Working level of English; Knowledge of another official United Nations language is desirable.


Remuneration

120,000 to 150,000RMB annually (before tax) + bonus based on the performance evaluation
