The 1st UNESCO/UNEP training course on Sustainability in Water Management for urban and rural development was held in college of environment science & engineering in recent days under the organization by UNESCO and IESD.

The secretary of CCP committee of CESE and Dr. Ing. W.F.Geiger from UNESCO delivered addresses on the opening ceremony respectively; they also sent warm welcome to the participants.

The aim of this training course is to introduce advanced technologies on sustainable development and communicate experiences on sustainable water management among experts and engineers home and abroad in recent years. The participants comes from German , Hong Kong, Beijing, Shandong ,Shanghai and other places of China who engage in the decision making, planning and designing of water management research for a long time.
