The Enrollment of Master Student of IESD Completed

UNEP-Tongji Institute of Environment for Sustainable Development will enroll master students focus on “Environment Management and Sustainable Development” this fall which will be completed in recent days.

This master programme is designed and held under the support with Regional Office of Asia-Pacific UNEP (UNEP-ROAP) and Regional Universities Coalition(RUC). This programme aims to integrate three main respects of sustainable development: environment, society and economy. The courses planning is to emphasize the harmony coexistence between human and nature, economy development and ecological environment. Thus , being the methods and frameworks to realize sustainable development. After learning some compulsory lessons in Tongji University during the first semester, all the participants are allowed to be selected to learn some selective lessons in RUC member universities for another semester under the finance support by IESD. After then, go bake to Tongji for research works and paper answer.

As planned, we will enroll 20 students, 10 Chinese student while another 10 from abroad. All the lessons will be given in English, resource persons come from other schools of Tongji , CEPA and universities from abroad expect from SESE.

International students qualified will receive finance support from UNEP. The matriculate name list in under censorship. 9 Chinese students enrolled are : Jun Cao, Yongzheng Cheng, Beijia Huang, Ping Shi, Yinan Wu, Meng Xu, Haifeng Yao, Jia Cao, Shihong Chen.
