IESD attended the International Workshop on Regional Centers of Expertise for DESD at UNU, Yokohama, Japan in early April, the RCE Workshop in Anji, Zhejiang Province, in late April, and in the international workshop on Guidelines to establish Nation Level Index systems in August. On Sept. 17, UNEP organized an inter-UN-agency meeting on implementation of DESD.
