Department of Civil Engineering under the Graduate School of Engineering,Nagoya University has opened a call for applications for the "Forefront Studies Program for Civil Engineering", a doctoral degree scholarship program supported by the Japanese Government Monbu-kagaku-sho (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, MEXT).
The Forefront Studies Program is designed especially for foreign students, and thus all the coursework and research supervison are in English.

Successful applicants will be granted:
 - A monthly stipend of 158,000 yen,
 - Air tickets from and to home country, and
 - Entrance and tuition fee waiver.
