The School of Management at the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand invites applications for resident fellowships in the areas of “Socially and Environmentally Responsive Management” and “Innovation and Entrepreneurship” for 2010.
A minimum requirement for the position is a PhD degree from a well-reputed university. The fellowship competition is open to advanced doctoral and post-doctoral students, and to mid-career professionals engaged in research or practice to facilitate the design, implementation, and evaluation of effective interventions that promote sustainable development. The initial appointment will be for a period of one year. The compensation and benefits will depend on qualifications and experience.
Applicants should describe how their work would contribute to one of the following themes:
- “Corporate Social Responsibility” which also link to the main research themes of the AIT “Climate change” and “Poverty alleviation,”
- “Innovation and Entrepreneurship” which covers a wide area from R&D management, innovation development, organizational processes in innovation, project management, and the role of entrepreneurship in the innovation creation process.
The qualified post-doctoral fellows will be responsible for:
• The development of cross functional areas teaching themes in sustainability and CSR; innovation and entrepreneurship.
• Teaching support and team teaching in various courses.
• Preparation of Business Cases for teaching in various courses.
• Communication with businesses to develop research projects in the research fields.
• Communication with donors to develop research projects in the research fields.
• Coordinate and support the Yunus Center’s activities
