The graduation ceremony of IESD master candidates who enrolled in the year of 2010 has been held at the lobby of Mingjing Building on June 4th, 2012. The ceremony was hosted by Prof. LI Fengting, the Vice dean of IESD. Prof. DAI Xiaohu, Dean of the College of Environmental Science & Engineering, Ms. QIAN Xin, Vice Chairman of the College Council, and Ms. Elizabeth Mrema, Deputy Director & Coordinator of the Operations and Programme Delivery Branch from the Division of Environmental Policy Implementation (DEPI) of UNEP, had been invited and delivered their congratulation speeches to all the graduates.

Prof. DAI spoke highly of the achievements of IESD toward academic communication, education, and international cooperation, showing his sincerely great expectations to all the IESD young graduates. Ms. Elizabeth Mrema emphasized the purposes and aims of the academic and education collaboration of UNEP, and expressed her strong support and appreciation to IESD’s consistent endeavor for cultivating future leaders and managers. The present leaders and teachers showed warm congratulations to all the candidates from all around the world, encouraging them to move forward to the future careers of global environmental protection and sustainability. YAO Linglan(China) and ShashankPoudel(Nepal) gave short speeches as the student delegates of IESD, expressing their deep gratitudeto IESD for providing the amazing chances, and saying they’ll continue to committing themselves to worldwide environmental protecting, with what they’ve learned and agreed.

The master candidates appeared on the stage in turn to receive their certifications, accepting the blessing and wishes from the leaders and teachers, taking group photos all around by happiness and cheer. The graduation ceremony achieved a great success.
