In August 14, 2012, the workshop of "Urbanization, Demographic Development, Climate Change and Sustainable Development" was held in Room 902, Zonghe Building, Tongji University. This workshop was jointly organized by the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung and UNEP-Tongji Institute of Environment for Sustainable Development (IESD), co-chaired by Mr. Andreas Dittrich, the Foundation Project Assistant and Professor Dahei Jiang, College of Environmental Science and Engineering, Tongji University.

During the workshop, Professor DaheJiang, Professor Lan Wang, College of Architecture and Urban Planning, Tongji University, and Mr. Johannes Grünhage, Germany Energy Center and College, delivered wonderful speeches according the theme. More than 30 German students attending this workshop conducted a heated discussion and share their own ideas with each other. This workshop promotes the information and cultural exchanges between China and Germany.
