The orientation meeting of the 2012 IESD degree program has been successfully held on 7th September, 2012. This class consists of over 20 international students from more than 10 different countries such as Kenya, Cameroon, Germany, France, Italy, and Denmark and so on and 10 Chinese students.

The class adviser firstly briefly introduced the general conditions of Tongji University and IESD. To enhance students’ understanding of each other, ice-breaking activity was held, which harmonized relationship among students. Each two international students and a Chinese student constituted a helping team so as to help international students be accustomed to life and study in China and laid a well foundation for them. Finally, the class adviser gave suggestions on academic issues like courses and answered questions raised by students.
