From October 7th to 15th，2012，20 students from College of Environmental Science and Engineering, Tongji University visited INSA Toulouse for a short-term exchange program. French professors made technical speeches on waste water treatment, drinking water plant process, membrane technology, solid waste and so on. The series of lectures aroused a lot of feedbacks and discussion on the drinking water problem and waste water treatment problem.

During the programme, INSA Toulouse also arranged a series of technical visits, like Pech-David drinking water production plant, Ginestous waste water treatment plant and some other plant. Through visiting these advanced plants in Toulouse and discussing the applied technology explained by the professor and senior engineers in the plants, the students had a deeper idea and general picture about water treatment technology in France.

INSA also invited our students to attend their international week and our students had opportunities to communicate with the students from different background and discover different culture and gastronomies.
