On 6 March 2013, an experience-sharing seminar on international conferences and exchange programs was held at IESD. Looking back into 2012, twelve students from IESD, the College of Environmental Science and Engineering, College of Design and Innovation, School of Transportation Engineering, School of Economics and Management, College of Architecture and Urban Planning participated in international conferences or exchange programs with the sponsorship of IESD.

The students shared the experience of their close interaction with world environmental ministries on the Rio+20 Summit, interview with UN Under-General-Secretary WU Hongbo on the 27th session of Global Environmental Ministries Forum, leadership training on World Student Summit for Sustainability, communication with environmental leaders on the COP18, study tour in Venice International University (VIU), diversified learning models in Paris Dauphine University and field trips at INSA Toulouse.

At the end the seminar, Ms. Shen Jiaqi, Program Coordinator of IESD also introduced the international conferences and exchange programs in 2013 and encouraged students to attend the 2013 International Student Conference on Environment and Sustainability.
