On April 20, 2013, IESD students had a one-day trip to Zhujiajiao Ancient Town. In spite of the misty rain, everyone was looking around happily, talking and laughing all the way.

Located in a suburb of Shanghai city, Zhujiajiao is an ancient water town well-known throughout the country, with a history of more than 1700 years. Walking along the river-side paths and old bridges across bubbling streams shaded by willow trees, students and teachers visited the local handcraft stores and tasted the unique local snacks.

In the historical and ancient town, everyone was enjoying the beautiful scenery and relaxing atmosphere. And this trip will remain a unique experience in everyone’s heart.
