The training programme on Environment Protection and Sustainability for environmental officers from Western Inner Mongolia was co-organized by UNEP-Tongji Institute of Environment for Sustainable Development (IESD) and College of Environment Science and Engineering from 21st to 25th Oct. in Tongji University.

Prof. DONG Qi, Vice President of Tongji University, Mr. DU Junfeng, Deputy Director of Inner Mongolian Environmental Protection Bureau attended the opening ceremony of this training programme and gave speeches.

Environmental officers from Erdos, Bayannaoer, Wuhai and Alxa participated in the five-day training, aiming at strengthen the concept of sustainability and the capability of field supervision.
