In late October 2013, IESD was pleased to have lectures about Sustainability and Sustainable Project Management by Professor Mario T. Tabucanon, former Vice President and Emeritus Professor of Asian Institute of Technology, and Visiting professor of United Nations University’s Institute of Advanced Studies in Yokohama, Japan. He is also a Senior Adviser to the United Nations Environment Programme at the Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific.
Prof. Mario Tabucanon divided his lecture in two parts, introducing Sustainability, Change, and Leadership in the first several lectures, leading to Project Management and Sustainability at the later lectures. At the end of the workshop, the IESD students were required to deal with a real issue using the method learning from the course and submit the report of the project.
