Globo TV, the most famous TV station in South American and the biggest private station in Brazil, together with China Radio International (CRI), visited in Tongji University on April 3rd, 2014, making an exclusive interview with Prof. Wu Jiang, Vice President of Tongji University, Dean of IESD, and international students from IESD on the subject of Education on Sustainable Development.

   Tongji University has drawn extensive attention during recent years because of its great efforts and achievements on the construction of Sustainability-oriented University.During the interview, Prof. Wu Jiang introduced to the reporters about the practice on sustainable development education and green campus construction. He also talked about the International Master and Ph.D Programs and Minor Degree of Sustainable Development in IESD, which inspired much admiration from the interviewers.

     Reporters then interviewed some international students from China, Italy, Ecuador, the Bahamas and Kenya about their choices to study sustainable development related discipline. Students shared their opinions and thoughts about studying in China and foreign countries and talked about their own career plans.

     The President of Tongji University, Prof. Pei Gang visited Rio de Janeiro in 2012 during the Rio+20 Earth Summit, at time of which released the Green Economy report with the Executive Director of UNEP, Mr. Achim Steiner.

      Additionally, invited by Sao Paulo University, Prof. Wu Jiang will visit Brazil in May 2014 to attend the 6th International Conference on Environmental Education and Sustainability "Best of Both Worlds", on which he will give speech as President of GUPES.
