On 19th,September, the first Friday afternoon in the opening semester, UNEP-Tongji University IESD organized an outdoor activity.Students went to Yuyuan Garden and the Bund.Despite the sprinkle and cool weather, students enjoyed themselves.

Yu Garden or Yuyuan Garden is an extensive Chinese garden located beside the City God Temple in the northeast of the Old City of Shanghai, China.

When the night falls, students walked to the bund to feel the modern feelings of Matropolis. On one side is the building of last centry,on the other soared up side the skyscrapers. It is amazing.

This is the first activity of IESD this semester, which for the purpose of welcoming new students, increasing friendship and enhancing mutural understanding and sense of group. International students has this chance to know Chinese culture, and get adapted to new life in Tongji and in China.
