On Dec 5th, 2015, "Seminaron Sustainable Development of Chemicals "was held in our school, hosted byShanghai Key Laboratory of Chemicals Analysis, Risk Assessment and Management.Haomin Guo, the director of construction and management department as thedivision of Shanghai Science and Technology R & D base, and Relevant persons in charge of schoolscientific research institutes were invited to attend the meeting. More thanforty persons attended the meeting as the relevant senior experts , andteachers and students of Key Laboratory from Fudan University, ShanghaiJiaotong University, East China University of Science and Technology, EastChina Normal University attended the meeting.

    The seminar started at 9 in themorning, Haomin Guo gave a speech , the person in charge introduced theconstruction of the key laboratory.Professor XiuGuangli, Cheng Jinping researcher, Professor Liu Min, Professor Jia Jinping,Professor Zhang Wanbin, Professor Cao Yong, Professor Wu Peng and associate ProfessorWang Ying etc. 8 Chemicals Research experts ,from Tongji University, Fudan University, Shanghai JiaotongUniversity, East China Institute of Technology, East China Normal University, aroundthe theme of sustainable development, respectively gave the excellent reports entitled"Environmental Risk regulatory trends of Chemicals," "low-dosemercury and typical POPs complex neurodevelopmental toxicity,""persistent organic pollutants in Estuarine area," " the research of complex gas chromatography detectionmethod --on drainage oil detection served as an example ", " Development and application of novel chiral catalyst inpharmaceutical synthesis ", " small molecule activation to the green synthesis : heterogeneous catalysisof gold, "" molecular sieve catalyticmaterials and green selective oxidation catalysis "and" UnitedNations Environment Programme (UNEP) and Tongji University to build, to create a global chemical Key Laboratory together " .theirlatest research results aroused strong interest from the participants, teachers and students had abroad and in-depth exploration and development of chemical risk prevention andsustainable development, and launched a lively discussion.
