On 10 October, at Asia-Pacific Leadership Programme on Environment for Sustainable Development, Tongji University and Golden Bricks International Holdings Group jointly released phase report of Green Investment in China’s Urbanization. This report analyzes the needs, requirements, opportunities of green investment in different phase of economic, social and environmental development with examples from different regions of China. Policy advises are also given targeting on enterprises’ green investment under the background of China’s urbanization.
Golden Bricks International Holdings Group devotes itself to promote causes of the public good about green, sustainable development. This year a deep co-operational relation between Golden Bricks International Investing Group and Tongji University was established, and the Group sponsored TJU’s project Green Investment in China’s Urbanization. Li Fengting, Deputy Dean of IESD, hosted the conference, and Professor Guo Ru delivered green investment report.
During the conference, Golden Bricks International Holdings Group also released Report of Social Responsibility of the Enterprise 2015-2016. Mainly based on the group and covering its two branch brands, Golden Brick Finance and Jinyingsuo, the development trails of annual social responsibility of the group and its branch brands are shown, as well as the specific practices of how enterprises’ social responsibility is carried out demonstrated.
Golden Bricks International Holdings Group also set up the Golden Brick Future scholarship, mainly used to support green habitation and sustainable development related research and survey carried out by student project group in colleges. It encourages students to combine their professional expertise and social demand together, and carry out innovation in scientific research and practice, thus to show the sense of responsibility of youngster scholars and students to environment and the career of sustainable development. In this year, a group of five students from College of Environmental Science and Engineering, College of Architecture and Urban Planning and else won the the chance to get project support for their project Shanghai Environmental Health and KPI Researches, and were awarded by Lin Changmao, Executive Chairman of the Group and Wu Jiang, Executive Vice President of Tongji University during the summit forum of 2016 International Student Conference on Environment and Sustainability.
