On Monday, 5 November 2012, the German Consulate General in Shanghai and the UNEP-Tongji Institute of Environment for Sustainable Development cordially invite you to attend the 2nd Sino-European Academic Symposium and the “Klaus-Töpfer-Award” Ceremony.
How can enterprises make money in a sustainable green economy? What need to be the right incentives? How can urbanisation and economic growth be compatible with protecting existing ecosystems and the world climate? Leading experts will debate these questions with students; European company representatives will exchange their views with academics.
The “Klaus-Töpfer-Award” is attributed to six outstanding student researcher groups from allover China for innovative research in the field of environmental and climate protection. The topic for applications this year was “Green Economy and Eco-System Management”.
