econet china provides information, marketing and networking services for German and European companies in the field of building, energy and environment.

As a platform initiated by the industry, econet china works on behalf of a group of several German companies interested in promoting German sustainable technologies and know-how in China. More information about our activities.

econet china is offering an internship starting February 23th, 2014 for the duration of three months. Applicants should be highly qualified and motivated to develop green markets in China!
 
  • Responsibilities

Interns at econet china have a large variety of interesting tasks:

You will support the team in all communications-related work like editing the monthly newsletter, improving the econet online performance and providing news for our social media websites. You will also be able to write your own articles and publications for example information sheets about a relevant topic of current interest which is then published on our website and in the newsletter.

Furthermore, you support the organization of events and meetings, help in preparing presentations, publications and coordinate the visits of delegations.

At econet china, you get the chance to work in a young, dynamic team and depending on your focus, you get the possibility of engaging in own projects and work on the topics of your own interest.


  • Requirement:

• Background in the sector building, energy and environment or at least a strong affinity
• Fluency in English, written and spoken
• Excellence in English translation
• Interest in computer-related work is beneficial (e.g. layout, website or graphic design)
• Skills in editorial writing are also essential, you should have a strong interest in writing and a strong command of the written word
• Motivation and ability to work in an international environment
• German mother tongue, Basic Chinese would be a plus
