LU Yongsen is emeritus Professor of Environmental Assessment and Management in the UNEP-Tongji Institute of Environment for Sustainable Development at Tongji University, whose research focus is integrated assessment of development actions. His research interests are in applied environmental ethics for sustainable development, circular economy -- green GDP accounting, sustainable water technologies, and assessment methodologies.  He has extensive experiences in environmental research and international cooperation projects.
