In order to strengthen the class construction and management of study and life of international students, IESD held the first class meeting of the new semester at 9:00 a.m. on February 28, 2023. The meeting was led by IESD class teacher Ms. Song Shuwei in the first classroom of Rui'an Building. 94 students attended the meeting. At the beginning of the meeting, IESD class teacher Song Shuwei introduced the teachers in charge of IESD departments and their corresponding responsibilities to all the international students, and introduced the student activities of this semester, including academic and cultural exchange, and also interacted with the international students, who provided rich suggestions for the activities with their collective wisdom.

Then, Mr. Liu Yongxiang was invited to introduce the study focus of this semester, and the students had a clear goal for their study;

Finally, Mr. Yat, a PhD student of Class 2021, was specially invited to share the process of dissertation writing, including how to complete thesis proposal , middle -term evaluation and final thesis proposal. which benefited the students a lot.

The class meeting gave international students a clear direction and plan for their study and life, and also created an atmosphere of active participation and emphasis on communication and exchange within the class, which strongly enhanced the class cohesion.
