Biography:

Wang Xin received his Bachelor of Architecture at College of Architecture and Urban Planning, Tongji University in 1999, and Ph.D. at same college in 2007. He was selected to be an exchange student at ETH-Zurich in 2000 and at Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2001.

Dr. WANG Xin is currently serving as Deputy Director of Joint International Research Lab of Eco Urban Design, Ministry of Education. He is also the Vice Dean of IESD, a cross disciplinary education and research center of Tongji University and the think tank of UNEP for urban environment and sustainable development. His research fields include sustainable design for urban regeneration，low carbon community assessment and planning,  education for sustainable development. He is the PI of the National Social Science Fund (NSSFC) project, sub project of National Key R&D Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and Shanghai Municipal Government Decision Consulting Project.
