Prof. Yang Youlin introduced technical measures to mitigate DLDD in China and major issues face the affected Asian countries from four perspectives: definition of land degradation, cause of land degradation, consequences of land degradation and technical measures.
In the 10th anniversary of ISCES, the Global Environment Solution Challenge received nearly 300 solutions from 33 countries with the sparkling and innovative ideas for the wicked environmental challenges. The judging committee consist of experts from private sectors, UN agencies, academic institutions and NGOs. The champion teams will be announced on 6 June.
